The Friends of St. Mary's
The Friends of St. Mary’s is a registered charitable trust which aims to generate income, to sustain and enhance the building in its secular capacity, as a civic and cultural centre.
The Trust has already established the charity's endowment fund and provided a new sound system and improved lighting. The Trust aims to raise and invest capital to sustain the facility over the years to come.
You can become a Friend of St. Mary’s by contributing £100 or more by cheque, or £15 or more a year by bank standing order. Please Gift Aid your donation if possible. This will be a valuable contribution to one of Petworth’s special assets and to its cultural and social life.
The target for the endowment fund £100,000 to be invested in perpetuity, with the income applied to the Trust's purposes. For this we are inviting Founder Patrons to contribute a lump sum of £5000 and Patrons £1000. Smaller donations would be gratefully received and listed as Donors; and legacies are encouraged.
