St. Mary's Church The Friends of St. Mary's The Friends of St. Mary?s is a registered charitable trust which aims to generate income, to sustain and enhance the building in its secular capacity, as a civic and cultural centre. The Trust has already established the charity's endowment fund and provided a new sound system and improved lighting. The Trust aims to raise and invest capital to sustain the facility over the years to come. You can become a Friend of St. Mary?s by contributing ?100 or more by cheque, or ?15 or more a year by bank standing order. Please Gift Aid your donation if possible. This will be a valuable contribution to one of Petworth?s special assets and to its cultural and social life. The target for the endowment fund ?100,000 to be invested in perpetuity, with the income applied to the Trust's purposes. For this we are inviting Founder Patrons to contribute a lump sum of ?5000 and Patrons ?1000. Smaller donations would be gratefully received and listed as Donors; and legacies are encouraged. |
